Account and Data Deletion
You can permanently close your Janodel account from the app.
Effective 31 October 2026
Delete in the app
Open Profile, then Privacy, and select Delete account. This removes access to the account and starts deletion of associated profile data, photos, questionnaire answers, priorities, introductions, and conversations.
Request by email
If you cannot access the account, email support@janodel.com from the account email. We may verify your identity before acting.
What may remain
Janodel may retain limited payment, tax, fraud-prevention, consent, moderation, blocking, dispute, or legal records where retention is required or justified. Provider backups and security logs may remain subject to the applicable retention and recovery arrangements. Retained records must be restricted and must not be used to continue matchmaking.
